Rosalie was an active member of the Sanford, Florida Genealogy Club. I had the pleasure of managing our table at the Seminole County Genealogy Fair with her last year, and remember how excited she was to share with everyone attending the progress she had made on her family tree since joining the club in 2019. The last message I got from her was on Thursday, March 2nd during RootsTech, she said, "Hey Jon, we are related! You are my 11th cousin once removed according to Roots Tech! We will have to talk about this.  The connection is further back than I have gone in my tree.  Enjoy the conference." I have been wondering where she was this past month, and mentioned at our last meeting that I hadn't seen her since before RootsTech. I was very sad to learn today that she had passed away! I will miss seeing her smile at our meetings!

Words cannot express this loss. A bright light in this world that was a second mom to me growing up. My heart aches for my always brother, David, and for Mr. Morace. I can still remember learning how to play pool on the back patio, her allowing us to build a network of pillow tunnels in the living room, and showing me a small part of the world on our trip to New Orleans. I am praying for all of the family, Mr. M, and David. She was so loved and will be missed.

Childhood and dresses.  I got Rosalie's hand-me-downs.  I loved this dress that she was wearing.  It was Easter and Grandma Hopper was visiting.  

I was so saddened to hear of Rosalie's passing.  What an amazing lady.  I have fond memories of the being in Junior Women's Club back in the 80's with Rosalie.  She was very giving and kind to all.
