Rocco Chiarella

Mr. Rocco Chiarella, son of the late Antonio Chiarella and Maria Angela Cilurzo-Chiarella was born on August 20, 1927 in Vallefiorita, Catanzaro, Italy. He was a symbol of peace to his family, was very loving, and loved dearly. He was a jack of all trades and master of all. In his career he repaired motorcycles at King Cycles in Brooklyn, New York, and repaired city buses and other city vehicles while working for the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) of New York City. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Maria Chiarella, Salvatore Chiarella, Caterina Manno, Albina Notaro, Anna Nuciforo, Annibale Chiarella, and Annibalina Chiarella. He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Rosetta Chiarella, two children: Antonio Chiarella and Maria Angela Chiarella-Mohammad, six grandchildren: Mohtez Mohammad, Rashid Mohammad, Rocco Mohammad, Omar Mohammad, Gabriella Chiarella, and Jenine Mohammad, and three great grandchildren: Ishaq Mohammad, Jakob Mohammad, and Zayn Mohammad. He will live in our hearts and memories forever.

Rocco Chiarella, age 95, of Deltona, Florida passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022. Rocco was born August 20, 1927.

A graveside service for Rocco will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery, 5000 COUNTY ROAD 46A, SANFORD, FL 32771.
