What a beautiful service for such an inspirational man. I only knew Sam for a little over two years, but I will treasure those memories when he was sharing a story or helping me with my commercial real estate challenges in Kirkwood or Venice.  Always so thoughtful and caring. A more amazing person I have never met. My heart goes out to all his family and friends. God Bless.

I only knew Sam for the past 7 months or so - sharing the office next door to him in St. Louis. He was kind, thoughtful, charming, and an excellent conversationalist! We spoke about travel, business, philosophy, education, traffic laws - you name it. I often had to cut the conversation off to get some work done - ha! I imagine that the void that he has left in people's hearts will be immense. My heart goes out to his wife and family as they grieve this legend of a human being. The pictures are so nice to see - what a full life he lived! Sending care to you all!

Words cannot express how sad I was to hear of Sam’s passing. I remember the first time I met  you and Sam, and I remember when you were married. I never saw a more devoted couple who lived life so fully. Sam was a  trusted mentor and I valued his wisdom and advice. He always had a kind word and willingness to help people. I am so incredibly sorry we lost such a kind and loving man. Life makes no sense to me at this moment. 
Sam will always be that man. Someone others aspire to be. An accomplished entrepreneur, a very successful businessman filled with passion and confidence. I was so fortunate to call him my friend.

I'm so very sorry for your loss.
 As some of you know, the Ackley family lived down the street from my family, the Hardens,  in Rockledge, Florida, when Sam was in high school.  Charlene and I were in middle school.   We've been acquainted a very long time! 
The world seems a little dimmer without your beloved Sam.  I'll always remember his warmth and attentive ear.  And his loving, and fun-loving, spirit.  His presence was a big one, yet he was always gentle, approachable.  
Know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Always.

   I was so sadden to hear of Sam’s unexpected passing.  I remember his charismatic personality, him being so outgoing and always having a smile on his face. 
  Our family will miss him. I pray for peace, comfort and celebration of his life to the whole entire family.

I am very saddened and surprised to hear of Sam's passing away.  I have known him since childhood and have many fond memories of him.  One I wish to share is of him trying to teach me how to box when we visited Florida in 1965 when I was 12 years old.  It would have been nice to have had him for an older brother, a blessing his siblings had.   Allah Yurhamu and my sincerest sympathies to all his family.

Our deepest condolences to you and your family for the loss of our cousin and friend, Sam.  It's evident that he played a significant role in your life, sharing wonderful memories both in Lebanon and in America.  I personally recall time in Lebanon during our youth as well as times in the USA at family gathering or just visits.  It was a joy to see Sam and Diane with grandkids at the last family reunion in Pipestem.

Ackley Family,

I am very deeply saddened by loss of Sam.  My heart aches for all of you.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Sam as part of Payroc's acquisition of ACHeck21.  What I came to appreciate about Sam was his kindness, patience and humility.  Sam's willingness to share his knowledge was exemplary.  No matter the tenseness of a given situation or discussion, Sam had a way of approaching the subject at hand in a way that put everyone at ease. 

Sam is what I would call a "gentleman's gentleman" in every sense of the word.  Your spirit will be missed.  RIP good man....

My Uncle Sammy he was just the best. His laugh was contagious and I’m really going to miss his stories, jubilant personality and seeing the love he has for his family.  His words and hugs were always heartfelt. I am so sorry for your loss and I am devastated on a personal level.  Sam will always be a very special person in my life who was there when I needed him.  He showed me grace and kindness and support at a time in my life when I was lost.  He picked me up, dusted me off, and fixed me as a professional, a person, a friend, and a father.  He was the perfect combination of things that I needed and I believe God knew that I needed Sam at that time.

I am a 60 year old man now and when I think of people in my life who were instrumental in my success, Sam is one of the first people that I think of.  His loss brings back so many wonderful memories of just how lucky I was to have him show up when he did.   My prayers and thoughts are with all of you and I hope you each get a visit from Sam in a dream that eases your pain and helps you process this terrible loss in some way.

How do you describe Sam. I went to school with him, graduated high school with Sam. Such a nice guy, friendly with everyone. May Gods Love, Peace, and Strength be with all of Sam’s family. Rest In Peace my friend.

Our Deepest condolences to the entire Ackley Family.  Sam was awonderful human being whose life was full of love to his family.  He was dedicated in service to his community whether in piblic office or in private life.

Sammy was always kind, willing to share a story or information, listened with full attention, made sure people were acknowledged. And never skimped on letting you know you were loved. 
What a great loss to all, but more so, what a great privilege to have known and spent time with Sammy.

Sammy was one of the kindest, most gentle men I had ever met. You always felt like he saw you and had a humility about him that made you want to sit by him at gatherings. What a loss.
