Minnie O. Taylor, 88, of Lake Mary, Florida passed away peacefully on October 28, 2015. She was born in Farmville, VA to her loving parents William and Ally Oertel. Minnie was a Pastor’s wife and home missionary serving Churches in the Southern Baptist Convention for over fifty years. She was a loving and devoted wife to Rev. A.M. Taylor, a wonderful mother, and she cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Rev. A.M. Taylor and survived by her sons James (Laurie) Taylor and Jeffrey (Caroline) Taylor, her three sisters Eliza Duncan, Theresa Shelton and Joyce Ingle; two brothers, William Oertel and Robert Oertel. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service to celebrate Minnie’s life will be held at 6pm Sunday November 1, 2015 at Westview Baptist Church in Sanford, Florida. Minnie’s interment will be held at Maye River Baptist Church Cemetery in Bluffton, South Carolina on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 1pm.
