Mike McCoy

Joe “Mike” McCoy, age 61 of Deltona, FL went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 21, 2015. He was born in Atlanta, GA on August 5, 1953 to the late James L McCoy and Geraldine Suttle McCoy. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Vicki Graham McCoy. He is also survived by his sister, Veva McCoy Foster and husband, Billy of Horatio, AR, his brother, Jim McCoy and wife, Iris of Atlanta, GA and numerous beloved nieces and nephews across our country. Mike retired in 2010 from Glidden Paint Company after 39 years of service. He gave his all in everything he did whether it was for his church , family, work or in sports that he loved. Mike loved his Lord and served as a deacon at Central Baptist Church where he was a long time member. The family would like to express our thanks to Mike’s Church community and neighbors for all their love and support during Mike’s journey home. Visitation will be from 10am-11am, Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Central Baptist Church, 3101 FL-46, Sanford, FL. Service will begin at 11am after the visitation Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, 5000 County Rd 46A, Sanford, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Central Baptist Church in Sanford, FL, Horatio Methodist Church in Horatio, AR or a charity of your choice.
