She was a proud graduate of Loyola University with a degree in Nursing. She was a lifelong nurse, serving 37 years in long-term care, most of those years as a nursing home administrator. She retired at the age of 75. She had a laugh that made everyone laugh along with her and she loved her Saturday night Bingo.
She is survived by her husband Thomas P. Kehoe, her brother Nelson McMahon (Linda), her sister Mary Ellen Wright (Jack), her three daughters Jennifer Blinn (Mike), Julie Hillstrom-Quinn (Colin), Erin Hillstrom, her rescue dog Mia and her favorite grandson, Emmett Quinn who spent nearly every Sunday afternoon with his GIGI.
A Celebration of Maureen’s Life will be held at 12:30pm January 12, 2019 at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel located at 5000 H.E. Thomas Jr. PKWY, Sanford, Florida 32771. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to Pet Rescue by Judy in Maureen’s name.
