Mary Maury Charles

Mary was adventurous, generous and loving. She spent her career working as a Special Education Administrator and Teacher with a special place in her heart for these students. She thoroughly enjoyed travel and adventure as she journeyed around the globe with her grandchildren, family and friends soaking up all the sites and learning about new cultures. She was also gracious with her time by volunteering at several hospitals, including Central Florida Regional. Being a hard-working and devoted mother, the relationships with her children, grandchildren and friends were the things she held most dear.

Mary is predeceased by her parents; husband of 20 years, James Charles and siblings, Dr. Lucien Maury and half-brother Frank Maury, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brett Smith (Audrey) and Charlotte Smith-Wilkes (Jamie); six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; close friends, Lisa and Spike Pike and a host of extended family members and friends.
