Mr. Luis Perez

Luis graduated from Manuel Monserrate High School and received an Associate’s Degree from World University of Puerto Rico. He also served in the US Army and was honorably discharged.

Luis was married to Ilsa Perez on November 14, 1970.

Luis had a long devoted career as a police officer, working in the Police Department of San Juan for many years. He would later retire as the Chief of Police in Puerto Rico.

Luis had a passion for watching baseball, listening to music, and traveling on cruises. Luis was a great cook and cherished being surrounded by his family and friends. He was the life of the party and always sociable.

He was survived by his devoted wife of over 50 years, Ilsa Perez; children, Katherine Stratton and husband Jason, Kevin and wife Autumn Perez; grandchildren, Kimberly Rivie, Isabella, Ariabella, Krystal, Kenneth Perez, and Niklaus Stratton Perez.

Luis also leaves behind many family and friends who will cherish he sweet memories forever.
