He peacefully passed into heaven on March 30th 2025 at the age of 94 to be with his lord
Jesus Christ.
Lou was relocated to Florida in 1976 with his wife and family. Lou suffered a severe stroke in December of 2023 and then, survived COVID twice during his recovery. Even with a weakened heart, Lou never gave up hope and through physical therapy and determination, his recovery was amazing. But his heart had been weakened too much. Lou loved his lord Jesus Christ above all else.
He served In the U.S. Air Force from 1949 through 1952 as an in-flight Radio Operator and
attained the rank of Staff Sargent. Until recently, Lou was a member of the Chamber Choir at Annunciation Catholic Church for over 30 years. He retired from Siemens Stromberg Carlson in 1993.
Lou was predeceased by his wife Mary (Berardicurti) DeBole (2009) and his son Michael S
DeBole (2015).Also predeceased by parents: Lucy DeBole & Michael DeBole, and siblings: James Debole, Pat(DeBole) Schifano, Sally (DeBole) DiMartino, Lena DeBole, Albert DeBole, and Antoinette
DeBole.
Lou is survived by his sister Asunta (Sue) DeBole, children: Michele A (Reed) Vonhold, Louis
F, Steven M, and Frank C, and grandchildren: Eric (Lauri) Vonhold, Amanda (James) Sexton;
Rebecca, Rachel, and Nickolas (Christina) DeBole as well as several nieces and nephews.
Lou had a very fulfilling life that revolved around his church, his family, and his friends.
Everyone liked or loved Lou.
Even in the struggles of failing health, Lou always proclaimed: "I had a Great Life!" and he
reflected it in his always optimistic attitude.
The family will receive guests for visitation at 10 am on Monday, April 7, 2025 at Baldwin
Fairchild Funeral Home, 5000 CR 46A, Sanford, Florida 32771. The funeral service will begin at 11 am. The graveside service with military honors will follow in Oaklawn Park Cemetery.
