Laura Ann Jakob

Laura Ann Jakob, 65, of Lake Mary passed away in her residence on Monday, November 28, 2016. Laura was born on May 10, 1951 in New York City, New York; the daughter of Alphonse and Sonja Myette. Laura married Paul Jakob in 1971, and they moved to Florida around 1991. She was a homemaker. She was completely devoted to her family, friends, and neighbors. She and her husband Paul attended Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs.

Laura leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband Paul, daughters Alison Jakob and Amanda Schwarzman, sons Paul Jakob Jr. and John Jakob, two grandchildren Krista and Kayla Schwarzman; as well as countless friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel on Monday, December 5, 2016 from noon to 3:00pm, with funeral services beginning at 3:00 pm. Father Stephen Baumann will officiate. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Park Cemetery in Sanford. Laura’s family urges donations be made in lieu of flowers.
