We are sorrowful of the passing of Kevin Ray Cannon on November 21th 2022, in Alexandria, LA. Kevin was welcomed into this world on December 31th 1957. He was preceded in death by his mother (Freda Robinson Cannon), Father (James Roscoe Cannon),Wife Dorothy Geno Cannon), Brother (Corey Jay Cannon), and Grandson (James Cannon). Kevin is Survived by his daughter (Melessia Cannon), Son (James B. Cannon), Sister, ( Dawn C. Smith), Sister, (Faith Cannon Cook), Grandchildren (Jazmyne Covert, Cindy Taylor, Brittany Cannon, Kaitlyn Meyers, and Lillybelle Cannon), Great Granddaughter (Emma Lou Wommack) and Great Grandson (Ezra Taylor).
Kevin served in the United States Army and afterwards, became a truck driver for Pepsi Cola. Kevin loved being on the road, seeing what our nation was about. When Kevin wasn't rolling through the country in his Peterbuilt, he loved being with his family. Even on the road he would make pit stops to see his many cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and extended family.
Kevin, in his free time, enjoyed riding his pink and purple custom soft tail Harley Davidson. He use to say the wind in his long curly hair felt like a massage on his scalp. Kevin also enjoyed the many fishing and shrimping adventures with his family. He would fish and shrimp for days on the docks in Volusia County, FL.
