Julian met the love of his life in high school. They were married at 18 and blessed with over 69 years together. After serving in the Navy during the Korean War, they settled in Florida and raised 3 kids. He worked for the state of Florida as a Flood Control Surveyor, and later, Seminole County, then the City of Orlando as an inspector. He loved his family and his work, but found his happy place on the St Johns River in his pontoon boat with friends and relatives.
Julian was a faithful and loving husband, a proud father, and a damn good friend. It was hard to buy a meal or cup of coffee with him around because he always bought it for you. He gave years of service to the Boy Scouts, to the missionaries, to the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and to his church, Central Baptist. Julian was truly a good man.
He is predeceased by his son, Marshall, and sister, Bobbie Jo Morrison. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Nancy; his son, Paul (wife Amy), and daughter Terry Sullivan (husband Gary); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as extended family, church family and countless friends.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to the Humane Society or to any favorite charity.
