Judith Ann Scavuzzo

Judith Ann Scavuzzo, 79, of Lake Mary passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Judith was born on November 26, 1936 in Jersey City, New Jersey; the daughter of Sherwood and Dorothy Heidrich. She married William Scavuzzo in June of 1965, and they enjoyed 50+ years of marriage. In 1997, she began her work as an administrative assistant at Disney in Orlando, after moving back to Florida from California. She was nearing her 20 year anniversary with Disney. Her family was always first. Judith’s other pleasures in life included her favorite television shows and movies, and she was quite the “Techie.” She enjoyed her Apple products, using them to play games, text, and Instagram with her grandchildren. She was very young at heart. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Bill, three daughters Lorraine Gutheim and husband Greg of Fort Meyers, Michele Spellos and husband John of New York, and Danielle Christie of Lake Mary, five grandchildren Brittany Gutheim, Jordan Gutheim, Liam Christie, Titan Spellos, and Leo Spellos. Judith also has a sister, Peggy Norwillo of New Jersey, and nieces Sheri Hester and Traci Medina. She will be missed greatly by her rescued dog Sammy. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter Nicole Scavuzzo. Visitation will be held at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel in Sanford, from 3:00 to 6:00pm, Sunday, April 10, 2016. Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 10:00 am at the funeral home, with Pastor Cameron Lashbrook officiating.
