He was born on May 7, 1949, in Graceville, Florida to Ruby Bass. He grew up in Winter Garden, Florida and remained a lifelong resident of Central Florida.
Larry was loved and cared for by his wife of 52 years and together they had two children. He was predeceased by his sister, Janice Brown. He is survived by his wife, Paula, his children, Nicholas Bagwell (Dea) and Amy Bagwell (Wagner), his grandchildren Tatiana, Monika, Angelica, Wagner Jr., Jaiden and Brandon. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Quinn and a host of cousins and nieces and nephews.
Larry is one of the founders of Residential Building Supply established in 1984 and worked in the building supply business for over 40 years. He was well respected both professionally and personally and made many friends along the way. Larry was a self-made man, and by his example taught his family and colleagues the meaning of hard work and integrity.
He was a graduate of UCF (formerly FTU) and proudly served his country in the US Navy. His happy place was in a boat on the water and especially on the golf course. On Saturdays you could find him rooting for his Florida Gators and on Sunday the Miami Dolphins. He was loyal to both, no matter how their season went. He was quick with a joke and had a nickname for everyone. He was loved by many and will be forever missed.
