Guy Maurice Dumais

Guy Maurice Dumais, age 73, of Lake Mary, Florida, passed away January 25, 2019. He was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on February 25, 1945. Guy graduated from MacArthur High School in Hollywood, Florida, attended Broward State College, and was married to Cheryl Lee Dumais on February 4, 1967.

Guy was an Air Force reservist and had careers in both air traffic control and the auto industry. He had a passion for his family; his wife, Cheryl, and his children, whom he dedicated his life to loving, providing for, and supporting in love. Guy deeply loved his friends at Spring Hill Assisted Living, where after a life of serving his family, he enjoyed some of the happiest years of his life.

Guy was predeceased by his loving wife, Cheryl, and his brother Marc Dumais, and survived by his mother Jeanette Dumais of Sanford, FL, son Blake Dumais of South Riding, VA, daughter Danielle Dumais of Charlotte, NC, daughter Kari Dumais of Sanford, FL, and grandchildren Maeve, Connor, Chase, Cullen, and Fiona.

A Celebration of Life Gathering is scheduled for Thursday January 31, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. at the Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, located at 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, Florida 32771. The Celebration of Guy’s life will follow the gathering at 5:00 P.M.
