Over her long life, Mrs. McMann was engaged as a real estate broker, manager of the first cable TV company in Centralia, IL, and managed a popular ladies wear shop. She was a graduate of Centralia High School and lived in Centralia until the couple retired to Florida in 1978. She enjoyed golf, interior decorating, painting & gardening, was an excellent seamstress and a voracious reader. Frances believed in giving back to her community and supported numerous charities and church missions, but her favorite charities were the Smile Train and St. Jude Hospital for Children. Most of all, she loved “her girls” and her family, who will miss her dearly.
A memorial gathering is planned for the family at the Lake Mary Events Center; following the celebration, her ashes will be scattered at sea to join those of her husband. A permanent memorial is planned for Deltona Memorial Gardens to reside near her beloved sister, with whom she was inseparable in life or death.
