Edward was born on March 21st, 1935 in Canton, Georgia to the late John and Ruby West.
Edward circumnavigated the globe while proudly serving his country in the United States Navy.
He then attended the University of Miami and became an electrical engineer. He began working
for Florida Power and Light where he retired decades later.
He enjoyed spending time in the north Georgia mountains kayaking and motorcycle riding.
He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Edward truly loved the outdoors.
Edward was proceeded in death by his wife, Joyce West.
Edward leaves behind his children; Michael Scott West, Ronda Galloway (David), his friend Linda Hasty;
4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
