Edith Owens

Edith is survived by her loving husband Gene "Bubba" Owens, son Gene "GW" Owens, daughter Natasha Owens, grandchildren Laila Owens, Elizabeth Ragsdale, Olivia Ragsdale, Brooke Jones and Shane Owens, mother Lucette Bowman and sister Caroline Mills and Angelique Brumm, as well as many other family members and great friends.

Edith is preceded in death by sister Patsy Hidalgo and grandson Tyler Owens.

To her family, friends and students she was kind, caring and fierce. Edith's greatest love was her family. She also enjoyed dancing, dinners with friends, traveling to the mountains, taking cruises, riding motorcycles and playing with her grandchildren. She will forever be in our hearts.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home with funeral services starting at 11 am. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
