Danny Lenhof, 81, of Winter Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025, in the presence of his loving family. Born on May 3, 1943, in Covington, Kentucky, Danny was the son of Ervin and Delores Lenhof. He graduated from Covington Catholic High School and later earned an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
Danny served in the Air Force from 1961 until his honorable discharge in 1969. On January 14, 1972, he married Russellyn Lenhof (Painter) in Dayton, Ohio. Their meeting while playing pool and dancing at a local club blossomed into a cherished love that lasted fifty-five years.
Danny began his career with NCR in Dayton, Ohio, after his military service. In 1976, his career led his family to Fort Lauderdale, where he worked in a banking data center in Miami. They moved to Winter Springs in 1979 when he accepted a position with Stromberg-Carlson. Later in his career, Danny also served as an adjunct professor at Seminole Community College, Webster University, and the University of Phoenix.
Danny had a passion for watching the Cincinnati Reds, surf fishing, shopping, dining out, and especially spoiling his grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rusty Lenhof; his son, Danny Lenhof (Sonya); his grandchildren, Seth and Lily Lenhof; his sisters, Joyce Alexander (Paul) and Penny Hatter (Jack); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Danny will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 COUNTY ROAD 46A, SANFORD, FL 32771.
