The Reyes Family expresses our deepest condolences to the family. We had the honor to meet Cecilia last year.  Our introduction was through Julia who we love dearly and understood how important Cecilia was to her and so many.  She was very sweet and welcoming. 
Our prayers is that our Lord will bring comfort and strength to all of her loved ones who she imparted her example of love and generosity . 

Dearest Santiago Family , I wanted to express my sympathy for the loss of your mother , wife and grandmother! I pray for the pain you must be feeling ! I loved your mother dearly! She always invited our family to a great dinner that left you so full and wanting more ! I remember her little chuckle when she laughed at someone! Her immaculate hair and nails even on a hot day at our Sunday Picnics! I don’t think she sweated ! I love to gossip with her ! She had such a great sense of humor ! I never heard her ever used profanity , even when dear Diego had too many beers 🍻 or danced with other Women ! She loved her children and grandchildren dearly ! I hope everyone loved her like I did ! My dearest loving cousin, how can I only share a memory when there are so many stored in my heart.  Since you came to live with us at which time you became our sister to just last week when I stood at your bedside playing your favorite hymn "Pescador de Hombres."  However, the most profound memory is when you and Diego gathered at my home with Mami, my mother-in-law Geña, and my husband Wilfredo to make pasteles.  How much fun we had.  So much laughter and chatter that a strenuous task was easily to accomplished.  You were loved and highly favored by Mami and your faithfulness in serving her is etched in my heart forever.  How do I walk away Ceci without shedding tears and a broken heart.  How do I say good-bye without clinching my chest?  My comfort comes from the Lord in knowing that today you walk with Christ hand in hand.  You sit at His table next to our loved ones that have also gone to be at our Lord's side.  Today, your smile will never cease.  Today you walk tall with no pain or agony.  Today, my dear Ceci you new life has begun.  The love and prayers you shared with so many here on earth you have left behind to comfort us.  So my dear sister, I bid thee not good-bye but until we meet again in that glorious place that Jesus went to prepare for us.  I was truly blessed and honored to have shared prayers, songs, laughter and joy with you, Diego and your dearest daughter Minerva.  Thank you for giving me that opportunity.  Thank you on behalf of the Garcia family and especially thank you for being a big sister to Minnie who shares the same thoughts as I do.   You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

We will remembere forever how much you enjoy the" parrandas music" when we played and sang at Christmas time.  We always will keep those beautiful memories  of you in our heart. My deepest condolences to Titi Ceci's (as I remember calling her) family. The last time I saw her was in 1991. I remember her words to me, verbatim, in Spanish, "take care of your mother." She loved my mother, she loved her family and she loved people. 

No more suffering, no more tears, no more sadness, and no more fears.
