Anne Christine Johnson Fawcett, 80, passed away on December 22, 2017 in Sanford, Florida. She was born on December 2, 1937 in Waltham, Massachusetts to Edwin and Eleanor Johnson. Anne was a mother, a wife of a career USAF Pilot, a lifelong sponsor of underprivileged girls internationally and a technical illustrator. Besides her role as a mother and wife her most important career was that of an artist. she spent four decades as an artist, her works selling in galleries in Hawaii, North Carolina and Florida as well as her work being owned in private and public collections worldwide. Some of Anne's other hobbies and interests included spiritual studies, qi gong, gardening, reading, sailing and collecting art. Anne is survived by her sons Eric A. Fawcett (Alberto S. Viana) and Gregory P. Fawcett (Laura E. Fawcett) as well as her grandchildren Chloe K. Fawcett and Cooper E. Fawcett as well as her sisters Judith Uhrig and Karen F. Johnson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation or the Christian Appalachian Project. A visitation is set to be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel in Sanford from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with a service to begin at 6:00pm.
