Wyndle Lamar Bates, Sr., age 94 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Monday, December 12, 2022. He was born on May 25, 1928 in Alpharetta, GA to Walter and Minnie Bates.
Wyndle is predeceased by his parents, his first wife Betty Steward, his second wife Dorothy Rawlings, and one of his son’s Stephen D. Bates.
He is survived by his son Wyndle Lamar Bates, Jr.; his grandson Wyndle Lamar Bates III; and his great-granddaughter Lymyra A. Bates.
A gathering of friends for will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 11AM at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 followed by a funeral service at noon. A graveside committal will occur Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, 15730 Hopewell Rd., Alpharetta, GA 30004.
