Bill was born in Greenwich, CT and moved with his family to Atlanta in 1972. He enjoyed the outdoors and was awarded the Boy Scouts of America Order of the Arrow. He was a lover of music festivals and gardening. Bill graduated from Riverwood High School; attended Appalachian State University; and received his civil engineering degree from Penn State University. Bill was a valued senior employee for 15 years with Valentino and Associates surveying firm.
Survivors include his widow Stephanie Perryman Busby; daughter Marley Joy Busby; parents Alfred W. and Barbara Busby; siblings Alison Agnew (Randy), Melissa Fernland (Greg), his identical twin Kenneth Busby (Marybeth), Steven Busby (Nicole); aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Bill was a quiet, kind, generous, hardworking man; a loving father, brother, and son. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family suggests friends plant a shrub or tree outdoors in Bill’s memory.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA.
