Samuel Lincoln Hagerman

Sam was a graduate of Henry Grady High School, class of 1953 and then attended and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1957. While at UGA he was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, where he served as Treasurer and President.

He started his career at Sears and Roebuck and left as a store manager to pursue a career in scrap metal until his retirement. Sam was a faithful member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church. His involvement in local charities included 7 Bridges to Recovery, Aloha to Aging, Habitat for Humanity and regular mission trips thru Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church

He is survived by his wife, Janet Russell Hagerman; his children Kellie Demarest (John); Samuel Lincoln Hagerman, Jr. and Janine Nunn (Bob). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Claire and Kyle Nunn and Emilee Hagerman, and his siblings, Leonard Hagerman, Philip Hagerman (Fran Ajax) and DeEtte Clark (Bill) and was preceded in death by his brother “K” Hagerman (Mary). Memorial Services will be held Wednesday April 27, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. with visitation prior at 12:30 p.m., at Mt Bethel United Methodist Church, 4385 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30068. Rev.
