Ron Rubery was preceded in death by his parents Clem and Sue Rubery and his brother Marvin Rubery.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Rubery and son Taft Millsaps, Sisters Sheila Hinds (Bob), and Sharon Wilson, and many loved nieces and nephews.
Ron grew up in Pleasant Valley, Iowa. He spent many wonderful days boating, fishing and hunting along the Mississippi River. Ron loved electric trains as a young boy. He had a room set up just for his electric train hobby. Ron was quite an accomplished wood worker and handy man. He would spend hours building and creating and repairing many beautiful items.
Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged as a captain.
He worked for many years as an auditor for the federal government.
Ron had many interests but what he loved the most was spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed
