Peggy Chambless Reynolds was born March 17, 1938 in Greenville, Georgia. She was a graduate of East Coweta High School. After briefly attending Piedmont School of Nursing, she went to work for Southern Bell, where she would meet her husband Joe. She and Joe were married in 1963. After living in Newnan, Gainesville, and Athens she and Joe moved to Alpharetta, Georgia in 1973. She had been an active member of First Baptist of Roswell for many years. She is survived by her son, Andy Reynolds of Atlanta, sister Jane Johnson (Reggie) of Fayetteville, sister Sue Nolen of Newnan, and brother Ned Chambless (Jane) of Sharpsburg, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
