Patricia Ann Henle

Patricia Ann Henle, 83, of Sandy Springs, passed away on January 14, 2017, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Ms. Henle was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was raised in Norris, Tennessee. She attended Barry University in Miami, Florida, and following her graduation she started working for Delta Airlines in Atlanta. After several years she began teaching in the Atlanta Public School System. She spent 8 years at J. C. Harris Elementary School and 22 years at Warren T. Jackson Elementary. She retired in 1989. Ms. Henle is pre-deceased by her parents, Anne and Maurice Henle of Norris, Tennessee, She is survived by her sister, Mary Jane Jay of Richmond, Virginia, as well as her nephews Roy Jay, Orlando, Florida, Charlie Jay (Kim), Nashville, Tennessee, and Mike Jay (Christina), Richmond, Virginia, as well as 8 grandnieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her best friend, Bettye Allen, and their two beloved cats, Bob and Callie. A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 21st at Norris Memorial Gardens, Clinton, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Atlanta Assistance League.
