Patricia attended Westminster Schools, Emory University and later studied architecture at Georgia Tech. Her joyful art graces numerous private and corporate collections throughout the South. Patricia was not only a beloved art instructor but also an impactful elementary school teacher, where she thrived at teaching math, inspiring her students.
Patricia found joy in fishing at the Outer Banks, often sketching her brother and son as they cast. Her love for gardening was equally artistic, filling her garden with flowers to paint. She cherished her walks with her grandsons, teaching them to appreciate the beauty in nature.
Born to John Ellison Branch and Jean MacKay Branch, Patricia leaves behind a legacy of creativity and love. She is survived by her son, Austin Christopher Stokes, his wife Lauren, and their daughters, Isabelle, Ava, and Alena; her daughter, Jennifer Branch Luallen, her husband Roger, and their sons, Edwin and Owen; her brother, John E. Branch III, and sister, Barbara Branch. Patricia's family was her pride and joy, and she lived a life filled with love and laughter.
The funeral service for Patricia will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at H.M. Patterson & Son-Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. There will be a visitation at 9:00 AM, immediately followed by the service at 9:30 AM. A committal service will then take place at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mount Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, starting at 10:30 AM.
