Max immigrated to the United States from Iran in 1982 and was a successful businessman, most recently building and operating Atlanta Furniture Market in Doraville; he truly loved his work.
Max enjoyed taking long walks every morning and evening. He loved home-cooked meals (all things Persian) and enjoyed sweets. He devoted his life to his family, and his grandchildren brought him true joy. Max was well known for his BIG heart and generosity towards those in need. He adored his wife and could not stop being affectionate towards her.
Max is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susan Vasigh, son, Shawn Vasigh, daughters, Mani Vasigh-Papp and Ani Connolly and granddaughters, Addison, Viktoria, and Isabel.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. A reception will follow the burial at 1:15 p.m. at Rumi's Kitchen, 6112 Roswell Rd., Sandy Springs, GA 30328. In place of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association,
