Martha Louise Rettig Minick, 88 of Dunwoody passed away Monday, August 5, 2013. Mrs. Minick was born and was reared in Evansville, IN., and was the daughter of the late Oliver Brooks and Sarah Jane Alexander Rettig. Born January 14, 1925, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William Dexter Minick, brothers, John Peter and Oliver Brooks, Jr., Rettig, and sister, Ruth Koonce. Mrs. Minick was a member of Georgetown Garden Club and was a retired auditor with Sentry Insurance Company. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kim and Clare Minick of Holly Springs, GA; and Kasey and Susan Aab-Minick, of Burleson, TX; a daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Alan Moye of Woodstock, GA; a granddaughter, Skylar Aab-Minick, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at one o'clock on Friday, August 9th at Patterson's Arlington Chapel. Entombment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from twelve o’clock noon until the hour of service on Friday at H. M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., Sandy Springs, 404-851-9900.
