Marianne Julia Bradley Our mom was born in Chicago on March 22nd, 1933 to Wayne and Irene Pence. She was a devout Christian, and attended catholic high school as well as catholic college in Kansas City Missouri. Surviving Patricia (Shawn) Polakwiecz, Stephen W Bradley, Tony (Colleen) Bradley. Also surviving is her brother Wayne Jr. (Gayle) Pence, nephews Don Jr., Michael, and Jeffrey Booker. Marianne met our father James Bradley in high school. They married and, after college, had 4 children, James F, Patricia K, Stephen W, and Joseph A Bradley. After college she became an RN in nursing, where she was an OR RN for many years. She moved back to Dunwoody Ga. in the late 1970's along with her son Tony, and was welcomed by her sister and brother-in-law, Donald and Patricia Booker. She worked for the family business, American Fitness Centers, here in Atlanta for many years as an executive assistant to our uncle. After working for a few other companies our mom retired and resided in Roswell Ga. She always had a smile, and she was always reaching to help out anyone in need. Our mom survived breast cancer in 2010. She was preceded in death by James F and James Jr, along with Wayne and Irene Pence, Donald and Patricia Booker, and nieces Karen and Jeanette Booker. We love and miss you mom; you were always there, never complained, and never stopped reaching out to help others in need. Our mom's only wish was that everyone she knew made it to Heaven.

My condolences to you all on the loss of your mother.  I know how hard it is.  When my dad and mom passed away within 2 years of each other, I felt like an orphan.  My prayers are with all of you.  Take care of each other.  Family is so important.

Marianne is my mother.time spent with her in my life cannot be replaced . With time for mediccal,doctors and treatments she always said the worst part was some care and understand from nurses,doctors and hospital staff.the worst care was at northside forsyth hospital where they didnt help her in life in comfort .she doesnt thank them for that and many more reasons.she told me that if she leaves us ,that she would rather have spent time with those instead of just showing up.she had so much tht she shared with me all her life.

I never actually met Marianne but I felt I knew her through much time spent and conversations with her son Steve. Steve always said it was a privilege and a honor to help his mother any way he could. I have only known you for almost seven years and been your daughter-in-law for almost 4.. You have always been so kind and the best second mom I could ask for. Thank you for raising a wonderful son and accepting me into your lives. I’m so blessed to have had this time with you . Marianne is my mother,  I stayed at her side. She loved all her children. I learned so much from her as she grew older.She was so good in accepting things as we were together.She would talk to me till the end on everything she had on her mind.We cried and laughed and made her stronger in the final days.Please contact me,steve bradley on any details with my mom.Thank all who knew her and helped her in her  life.

Marianne was a remarkable person. I shared much laughter and a few tears with her.  She had such a deep faith. I know I have a special Angel now watching over me. RIP my sweet friend!
