Laura Moncus Berman

Laura Berman, age 77, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. She was born as the only child to the union of the late Reverend Grover Moncus and Hazel Holbrook who preceded her in death. Laura graduated from the Atlanta Public School System, and Georgia State University, where she pledged Delta Gamma Diggy, Lti GA MM Sorority.

She spent her career working in the Fulton County DFACS. She was a homeowner at The Villas at Buckhead Heights.

Her husband Bobby Berman preceded her in death, leaving Laura and son Seth to continue the life they dreamed. Her beautiful pets: Buster and Zsa Zsa also made heavenly departures before Laura.

In 2006, Laura joined the Holy Union Christian Church under the pastor Reverend Bobby Simmons. She became both family and friend to the congregation. Her presence lifted the in a myriad of ways.

Laura leaves her son Seth and friends to cherish her memories. Gayle Dalton-Smith, Mary Ann Hiett, David Skipper, Dennis Durkin, Lynn Lommer, Dr. Vernice Robinson, Mrs. Cynthia Farber, and a host of other friends and well-wishers.
