Kathleen Kay Toner, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 after a period of declining health. She is survived by her husband Michael, her son Jarrod Toner and his wife Victoria, grandson David Toner, and sisters Beryl K. Paxton and Laura Lee Kay.
Kathleen graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology. She met her devoted husband Michael while at Clemson and they were married for 43 years. Michael always said she was the prettiest girl at Clemson and he supported her in all her creative and professional endeavors.
Kathleen’s professional career included technical testing, management, and marketing mainly in the paint industry. She combined her artistic talents with paint industry protocols to develop new methods of faux finishing walls using paint. In later years, she combined her technical and creative skills to become a color specialist, designer, and faux painter. Kathleen contributed her talents to several designer showhouses in Atlanta and other cities.
More recently, Kathleen has been enjoying her grandson David and doing all the special things grandparents are privileged to do.
Services will be held at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, Georgia at 2 pm on Saturday, November 5, 2022. The family will receive guests prior to the service at 1 pm. Burial services will be private.
