John Clark

Mr. John Newt Clark, age 89, of Sandy Springs, GA, passed February 20, 2011. Mr. Clark was a World War II veteran, serving in the European Theater with the 15th Air Force. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the First Baptist Church of Sandy Springs for over 40 years. He was a Master Plumber, owner and operator of Clark Plumbing for over 40 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, V. Maurine Clark, daughter Jean Slemons (Paul), son Ron Clark (Leslee), granddaughters Angee Langevin (Nick), Lauren and Megan Slemons, great grandson Collin Langevin, niece Vera Dillard (Doug), and caregiver Joe Jenkins. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 11:00 at Arlington Memorial Park, Rev. Ron Ervin officiating.
