Jane Houston Kollock McCall, 94, a native of Atlanta, GA, passed away on Thursday January 31, 2019 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Edith Cairns Kollock and George Jones Kollock, III. Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Guyton Bobo McCall, by their oldest daughter, Carolyn McCall Morgan and by her older sister, Mary Louise Kollock Henry. Jane is survived by her daughters Mary McCall Taylor (Charlie) and Anne McCall Walker (Charles), grandchildren Richie Jones, Alicia Krogh, Chris Jones, Joseph Walker, and Andrew Walker, great-grandchildren Aiden Jones, Camilla Krogh, Jayson Walker, Campbell Walker, Carolyn Jones Bornstein, and Carsten Krogh. Jane was born on June 18, 1924, in Atlanta, GA. After graduating from Washington Seminary in Atlanta, she entered Wesleyan College in Macon, GA where she received a BA degree in Fine Arts. While there, she participated in sports and won both golf and tennis championships. She was elected the Senior Class President, Senior Superlative, and elected to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. She was a member of the Huguenot Society of South Carolina and the Cathedral of St. Philip. She was an avid gardener, artist, seamstress, and homemaker but her real love was her family. She will be missed by all those who had the pleasure to know and love her. Per her request, there will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, GA on Tuesday February 5th at 2:00pm. Contributions can be made to your favorite charity.
