A native of Brooklyn, New York, she was a resident of Atlanta at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her parents Dominic and Lucia Vulpis; her siblings Antionete Sacende, Charles Vulpis, Benedict Vulpis, Michael Vulpis, Daniel Vulpis, and Theresa Colabro; her husband Victor DeLybovi; and two children: RoseAnn Lindsay and Lucille Fanizzi. She is survived by four grandchildren: Gina Fanizzi, Robert Lindsay, Franca Sachs, and Victoria Lindsay; and by seven great-grandchildren: Jamie Pacimeo, Brian Roraff, Isabella Roraff, Mia Watts, Shelby Watts, Asa Sachs, and Violet Lindsay.
A seamstress by trade, Grace enjoyed a long career making exquisite wedding gowns with intricate details. After retiring, she was active in many clubs and organizations, including the Bonnie Youth Organization, Gold Star Wives, Order of the Eastern Star, and various organizations in her neighborhood parish of St. Mark Catholic Church in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. She enjoyed travel, cooking, and the fine arts.
Grace survived several bouts of cancer during her long life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to a cancer charity of your choice.
