EARL THOMAS “TOM” ROGERS, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2023 at 5:49 PM. Mr. Rogers was born on October, 25, 1937 in Knoxville, TN, son of Thomas Harold Rogers of Paragould, AR, and Hazel Ruth Sparks of Knoxville, TN. Surviving is his wife Patricia Lee, his son Mark Thomas Rogers, sister Phyllis Reed and her husband Bill and predeceased by his brother Bill Rogers. Mr. Rogers attended Lincoln Park Elementary School, Christenberry Junior High School, and graduated from Fulton High School in 1955. In 1956, he joined the Air National Guard and remained with the Guard for 12 years. Over his career as a mechanical engineer, Mr. Rogers worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Rust Engineering and Simons-Eastern Consulting Engineers. He was a member of the Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta. A private burial service was held at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, GA.
