Surrounded by her loving family and dogs, Caryn Leigh Bains, 67, passed through the veil into eternal rest on September 10th, after a hard-fought 5 year battle with ovarian cancer. Although trained as lawyer, she chose a successful 25 year career with Glaxo Smith Kline as a pharmaceutical rep. Caryn was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend to many and her powerful positive spirit will be sadly missed. She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Sidney Bains III, and mother, Ann Lowery Bains. She leaves behind her adoring husband, Rolf Meinhold, her children, John, Erika, and Emmett and her dogs, Clyde and Stella. Funeral services will be held at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church, 805 Mt. Vernon Hwy NW Atlanta, GA 30327 on Saturday, September 18th, at 11AM. Always sensitive to the visual, Caryn requested that funeral attendees wear life-affirming colors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to be made in Caryn’s name to the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance.
