In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Threshold Ministry of Decatur Presbyterian Church, whose purpose is to invite women, men, and children who are in need into a community of faith where their stories can be heard, where Christ’s love can be demonstrated, and where practical assistance can be offered. Carolyn Brooks' ability to touch the lives of so many was her greatest gift, and we in turn have felt that very same type of love and support from each of you as members of this caring community.

Our family is planning a private graveside service, and there will be a public service at a later date.
