Bonnie Eugene Swancy

Mr. Bonnie E. Swancy, 86, a native of Dunwoody died on Monday, the 14th of August 2017. A member of one of the founding families of Dunwoody, he served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Bonnie retired from Kraft/Sealtest after a long career. An avid golfer, he was a former member of the Berkley Hills Country Club. He was a longtime faithful member of Dunwoody Baptist Church. Bonnie was preceded in death by his daughter, Jill Swancy and is survived by his loving wife of almost 39 years, Peggy Swancy; granddaughter, Little Bonnie Kline (Jacob); great-granddaughter, Alexis Kline; brother and sister-in-law, James and Jan Swancy; and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that contributions be directed to the charity of your choice. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family Thursday from three until five o’clock in the afternoon at H. M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Funeral services celebrating the life will be conducted on Friday, the 18th of August at two o’clock in the afternoon at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel. Interment will follow with military honors at Arlington Memorial Park.
