Mrs. Barbara Ann Ferrill

Mrs. Barbara Ann Ferrill, age 81, of Sandy Springs died August 31, 2011. Mrs. Ferrill was born in Sandersville, Georgia on November 29, 1929. She received her B.A. in Creative Writing from Georgia State University. Devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed a rich life filled with laughter and love with her family and many friends. She loved to read, was a writer, student, homemaker, and former Editor of the GSU Review. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Stuart Ferrill, Sr. in 1999 and is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert S. Ferrill, Jr. and Leslie Ferrill of Alpharetta; David A. Ferrill, Sr. and Janet F. Ledbetter Ferrill of San Antonio, TX; and Benjamin A. Ferrill of Huntsville, AL. She is also survived by grandchildren, Matt Allen, Lauren Massey, David Alex Ferrill, Jr., and Nathaniel S. Ferrill and one great grandchild Isabel Massey. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel. Interment will be immediately following in Arlington Memorial Park.
