Mrs. Audrey Kinley Pershing of Sandy Springs, GA, passed away from natural causes on November 30, 2015. Mrs. Pershing was born in Des Moines, IA, in July 1921 and married her late husband, Robert L. Pershing, also of Des Moines, in 1943. The couple moved to Sandy Springs in 1961 where they were active in the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church. Mrs. Pershing is survived by her two sons, Richard and David, and their two spouses, Susan and Joan Pershing, of Atlanta, GA. Additionally, she is survived by her two grandchildren, Robert Pershing and Courtney Davies and their spouses, Carol Pershing and Ethan Davies. Mrs. Pershing also had four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Sabrina, and Anna Pershing and Arrington Davies. Mrs. Pershing had one sister, the late Phyllis Codner, and is survived by her niece and nephew, Shela Baird and Stephen Codner, and their families. In her later life, Mrs. Pershing resided at Huntcliff Summit in Sandy Springs where she enjoyed playing bridge, pinochle, and dominoes and visiting with her many friends and neighbors. She also enjoyed spending holidays and celebrations with the families of her daughters-in-law, the Patricks and Wallaces. A family graveside memorial service and interment will be held at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial donations be made to the Susan G.
