Our beloved mother, Annie Corry Bramlett Robertson, went to join her husband, Fred Robertson, parents, brother, and many other friends and relatives, in the presence of the Lord Jesus on August 18, 2024. She was 94 years old.
Her graveside service will be held at 11:00, Sunday, August 25, at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs.
“Ann” was born in Atlanta May 26, 1930, on Woodbine St and grew up just around the corner on Whiteford Ave. Her parents were father, Mr Howell M. Bramlett of Washington, GA, and mother, Mrs Nellie Murden Bramlett of Robinson, GA., brother Mr H.M. Bramlett of Winder, GA. She graduated from Murphy High School.
Our mother worked for Georgia Power Company in downtown Atlanta and then for The Southern Company in Dunwoody, retiring at age 50 to become a “Nana”! She excelled in that role and her five grandchildren all adored her.
Ann’s husband of 69 years, Mr Fred G. Robertson, passed on May 12, 2020. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Robertson Mintz (Greg) of Woodstock, son, David Fred Robertson (Connie) of Marietta, five grandchildren, David A. Brooks (Kylee) of Marietta, Ginny Robertson Whitten (Michael) of Marietta, Bonnie Brooks Hobbs (Zack) of Marietta, Leslie Brooks Barfield (Brandon) of Kennesaw, Andrew D. Robertson (Carolyn) of Watkinsville, as well as eight great grandchildren.
Ann and Fred made their home in East Cobb where they lived for the past 42 years. Many precious memories were made in their home with the grandchildren as well as family occasions.
All who knew or only met our mother loved her. She was so kind and personable to everyone, always a smile on her face. A true Southern Belle she was!
We were blessed to have her as our mother,
especially for the long years that the good Lord gave her. She will be truly missed by so many.
We will always love you, Moma, and hold you in our hearts.
