Mrs. Anna S. Perkins, age 92, of Sandy Springs, died January 23, 2015. A former resident of Jekyll Island, a place she loved, Anna was an artist, a member of the Telephone Pioneers and a Charter Member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Sandy Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Perkins and her sons, Lawrence T. Perkins and Brian E. Perkins, Sr. and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Cheryl Perkins of Marietta, GA. Survivors also include grandchildren, Jenny O’Farrell; Brian Perkins, Jr.; Charissa Thacker; Greg Willard; Lance Ensley; Sarah Williams; Patrick Williams and Amy Johnston; she is also survived by great grandchildren, Juniper Thacker; Lilly Thacker; Briar Thacker; Zachary Williams; Taylor Gollyhorn and her husband Tyler Gollyhorn; Riley Williams; Austin Williams; Jacob Williams; Morgan Williams; Bruin Johnston; Samantha Johnston; Baylee Johnston and Bella Williams. A Funeral Mass will be said Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. Monsignor Joe Corbett will serve as Celebrant. Interment will be in Arlington Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 56566, Atlanta, GA 30343. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 27, 2015; from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
