Besides his service with the Marines, Bill worked in Sinai, Egypt for many years with the MFO after relocating to the UK with his English wife Mary. He was an avid ukulele/guitar player and singer with a wonderful crooning style that resembled his favorite artist, Bing Crosby. Music always filled the room when he and the family would gather, harmonizing on old favorites and classic international folk songs that harked back to his youth in Latin America and the West Indies. Trilingual from his culturally diverse upbringing(Spanish, Portuguese and English), he was also a proud Mason and a die hard Red Sox fan. He was always one to spring to action when anyone needed help or support. His immense kindness, love and laughter is truly missed by everyone.
A celebration of life will be forthcoming.
