Stephen L. Andersen

He was preceded in death by his partner of 35 years, Dan Fry.

He is survived by his brother Peter and Peter’s wife Becky, Peter’s sons Daniel and Mark, Mark’s wife Kim and their children Cameron, Nolan and Casey. He is also survived by his sister Cheryl Lickteig, her husband Larry, nephew Matthew, niece Olivia Fitzmaurice, Olivia’s husband Brendan, and their son Liam. He also leaves devoted lifelong friends Nola Beck, the entire Hernandez family and Mimi Morrie of Texas and his dogs, Sweetie Pie and Chadow. Stephen was born in Massachusetts and lived there until going to Texas for graduate school. After graduating from the seminary, he continued his spiritual studies throughout his life. He worked for the state of Texas as a Social Worker. He was a good, kind hearted and generous man to all who knew him and anyone in need.

His love of nature manifested in his growing and sharing an abundance of spectacular flowers and vegetables. His love of animals, particularly his goose, Louis, and the dozens of rescue dogs he sheltered was an important part of his life.

His sense of humor and his antics will be retold by all who knew and loved him.

He was truly a unique and loving person.
