Scott McCall Cwalina, 66, It is with a sad heart to announce that Scott McCall Cwalina, of Bourne, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, September 24th 2021. Scott was born on November 16th 1954 in Lynn, Massachusetts to Chester B. and Patricia A. (Roundey) Cwalina.
Scott was a graduate of Lynn English HS in 1972. He then pursued a career in engineering, working as a site supervisor for Vappi construction where he built Terminal B at Logan airport. He worked most recently for KBE Corporation of Connecticut for many years until his retirement in 2015. Scott enjoyed his work and prided himself on perfection. From building shopping malls, schools or a new wing onto a hospital, he made sure that it was perfect and spot on.
Scott also loved the ocean and fishing. He was a scuba diver and a Fishing Fanatic. Fishing for tuna 100 miles south of the cape to winter smelt fishing in Maine and everything in between. He especially enjoyed his years fishing around Gloucester and diving for lobsters with his brother and friends. His stories always came back to “Glos-ta”.
Scott is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Stephen and Denise Cwalina of Pine Island, Fl. and his sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Rick Murphy of Lynn, Ma. and a step niece, Kerrah Rupel of Tucson, Az and two nephews, Lee Cwalina of Springfield, Ma. and Craig Murphy of West Medford, Ma. and his beloved cats Pumpkin and Misty.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday November 6, 2021 at 10:30AM, Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, MA. Procession will follow to Sandwich Town Cemetery, Route 130 in Sandwich, MA for the Committal Service.
