Ron served as a Medical Corpsman in the United States Army and was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War. After the war, he met and was married to the love of his life for 49 years before she passed. They lived in Attleboro for 22 years before relocating to East Sandwich, MA. Ron and Karen divided their time between East Sandwich and Sarasota, FL. He enjoyed traveling with Karen and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Megan, her husband Daniel Megan, and his grandchildren Thomas, Daniel, and Kelly Megan, Brianna Leonard, and his great grandchild, Myles Robert Leonard. He is predeceased by his loving wife Karen and their son Robert Leonard.
