Richard Todd Lake “Richie” born in Boston Massachusetts on October 26, 1965 passed away on February 27th 2015 at the age of 49. Richie joined the Marine Corp. as a young man and always remained a Marine at heart. After he leaving the Marines he worked as a prison guard for ten years. Beyond that, he worked as a realtor and owned his own contracting business. Most recently he was a member of International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Local 35. For relaxation he enjoyed being out on his boat fishing, he loved to fish. He could also be found riding bikes along the canal with his son Timmy.
He was preceded in death by his mother Frances Johnson. He is survived by his father Rafiq, his son Timmy, his brother Michael and his sister Kim Johnson. He is survived by his best friend and fiancé Tara Cavanaugh and her sons. He is also survived by his step father David “Skipper” Johnson.
He is survived by his nephews and nieces, David Johnson, Kristopher Lake, Melissa Johnson, Kahdia Lake, Anthony Johnson, Cheyenne Johnson and Taqiah Lake. Richie will be remembered by his many dear friends as a proud Marine who defended his country who was always ready to offer an helping hand to others. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services on Wednesday from 10:00AM to 12:15 followed by Burial at Bourne National Cemetery at 1:00PM. Relatives and friends invited.
