Patricia Woods Cram

Patricia (Beaulieu) (Woods) Cram, 89, of Sandwich, Massachusetts, passed away October 8, 2024. She was born and raised in Salem, Massachusetts and was the daughter of Ernest and Lucienne Beaulieu. Pat was a business graduate of Salem Vocational High School, Class of 1951, and a long-time resident of Beverly, MA until she relocated to the Decatur House in Sandwich, MA in 2020.

Pat worked for many years in the dental field as an office manager. She also worked as a waitress at the former Sword & Shield and Commadore restaurants in Beverly. She found an amazing purpose post-retirement running the front of the house (for 22 years) at her daughter Susan’s café. The former Ryal Side Café in Beverly was a place to work and shine… where her friends often came to chat & visit.

Pat’s other love was bowling and for many years she was a member of the St. John’s Bowling league. She was also a sports fan, following the Red Sox and Patriots. Later in life Pat discovered a creative side and had a passion and talent for art, creating beautiful paintings while thriving at the Decatur House. Additionally, Pat was devoted to her six grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Patricia is survived by her children, Colonel (Retired) Steven Woods (and spouse Kara), Paula LaRochelle (and spouse Thomas) and Susan Woods Powell. She is also survived by her sister Gloria Beaulieu, her six grandchildren Dylan, Kelli, Daryl, Michael, Madeline and Andrea, her six great grandchildren Zarahi, Hunter, Remi, Aubrielle, Daniella, and Emma. Pat also had two stepsons, Gordon and Richard Cram.

Patricia was predeceased by her husbands George F. Woods and Gordon J. Cram, as well as her brother, Ernest A. Beaulieu.

Celebration of Life Visitation will be held Saturday, October 12th from 10-11am at Nickerson- Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich, MA. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11am. Burial will be private at North Beverly Cemetery.
